Objectives
The half-day program is designed to introduce young players to golf and to improve the playing skills of more experienced players.
Instructor
Fran Wilkerson, LPGA Golf Professional at Wil~Mar Golf Club, will conduct summer golf camps for juniors. Fran has been helping junior players by conducting camps for juniors for 20 years. Past participants in the camps, now successful high school players, are counselors to the younger participants.
Eligible Juniors
The camps are open to boys and girls, third grade through high school.
The camps will include:
- Personal instruction on all strokes – full swing and short game
- video analysis for swings
- Rules and etiquette, and
- one competitive tournament
Daily Times
- 9:00-12:00. Lunch on your own.
Total Cost
- $100.00
Equipment
Participants must supply their own golf clubs.
